良好的公路自行车

I average about 40 mpg and it's been totally reliable as I'd expect it to be. The fir and finish is great and the overall quality seems very good. I particularly like the extremely positive shifter and how it securely clunks into gears. I can't recall having missed a shift. It's also nice that since it's a heal and tow shifter that it's large enough for me to actually put my entire size 12 boot on the floorboard between the heel and the toe parts of the shifters -- I can't do this with most heel and toe shifters. The bike seems well thought-out. A couple of things I wish were different: I would really like four-way flashers to be on every bike. And the fifth gear is a very tall gear necessitating prolonged 4th gear use up to about 55 mph. I'd like a shorter 5th gear and possibly a 6th gear for highway. Overall, it's a great bike -- it handles better than my last two bikes -- an XL1200L and a ZG1400 -- probably because it has a lower center of gravity and is more comfortable than either. I also like the simplicity of the air-cooled motor and relative lack of instrumentation.
