Isn't it funny that there are now categories that combine two opposite kinds of motorcycling? Sport Cruisers, Adventure Sportbikes...Sport Tourers...it seems like these should be totally separate things. The problem is that every kind of motorcycling is fun, so we have to sometimes balance very opposing ideals.
The Sport Touring category is a good example. How much sport do you want? How much comfort do you need. Luckily, we have lots of choices, so the boys at MO made some phone calls, got some bikes and rode 'em around and around so we should say something intelligent about them.
The bikes? BMW K1200GT, Bavaria's latest travellingwunderkinde, Triumph's Sprint ST, which can shake and stir you, and Yamaha's suave, sophisticated and self-shifting FJR1300AE.
Which did we like best? Wouldn't you like to know? Well you can;grab your mouse and ignore your spouse; it's time to sport tour MO-style!
