Honda EV-neo electric scooter announced
TheHondaEV-neo electric scooter is designed to be a delivery vehicle for businesses. The EV-neo uses a brushless electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery produced by Toshiba. A prototype of the EV-neo was first introduced in prototype form at the2009 Tokyo Motor Show, under the name EVE-neo.
According to Honda, the EV-neo offers the performance of an under-50cc gasoline engine motorcycle and has a range of over 30 km (18.6 miles) when driven at 30 km/h on a flat road. Honda says the EV-neo can gain a full charge in four hours with a regular charger and a 100V power source, and about an 80% charge in 20 minutes with a quick charger and a 200V power source.

Honda has not announced plans to release the EV-neo outside of Japan but China is a likely market for later expansion. Honda has not released any pricing information either.
