Askenazi has 14 years of experience in the motorcycle industry, recently holding the position of senior director of analysis, test and engineering process withBuell.

During his time with Buell, Askenazi helped develop 26 models from concept to production. Askenazi is contribuited to patents for front brake rotor mounting, lightweight wheels, spoke arrangement and an integral fuel storage unit with breakaway steering head.
